Hi, dancers and families! This month'sDanceStepshas lots of important information; please read (and re-read) carefully! Fall Parent Observation Fall Parent Observation will be November 18-21. We encourage you to visit your child's class(es) for a firsthand look at what they are learning this year! Costume Fees Are Now Due! Please note that costume fees were due on November 1; these fees have been added to your dancer's Studio Director account. We begin selecting costumes in December! Christmas Tree Lot The Centre & Co. and the Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation are partnering again to bring you a great fundraiser in support of chomping childhood cancer! We will host a Christmas Tree Lot at The Centre & Co. beginning Friday, November 29 with beautiful live trees and wreaths. We are especially excited as Family Dollar has committed to matching everything we raise penny for penny! We will need lots of volunteers to make the tree lot fundraiser a success. There is something for everyone to do: making wreaths, lifting trees, and more! This can also count for volunteer hours for students needing to fulfill those commitments. We do ask that the smallest elves stay at home - for their safety as we will not have childcare! Easley Christmas Parade The Centre & Co. will participate in the Easley Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14. More information will be shared soon! We will wear sweatshirts in the parade and order forms will be available in the studio; sweatshirts must be paid in full ($25) via cash, check, or your account information! Important Dates November 27 - December 1: Thanksgiving Break (studio closed) December 14: Easley Christmas Parade (We participate with a float; stay tuned for details!) December 20 - January 5: Christmas Break (studio closed) January 18: Winter Show (This is an opportunity to watch our competition dancers perform.) March 16 - 20: Picture Week April 10 - April 19: Spring Break (studio closed) May 16: Centre Concert (This is our spring recital; rehearsal will be on May 15.)
