This is one of our most important issues of Dance Steps for the year so please read and re-read carefully. We are looking forward to a fun - and busy - spring with you!
Costumes
Costumes will go home with dancers the week of March 11-14. Costumes will only be released if they have been paid for in full.
Tights
All recreation ballet dancers will need ballet pink tights for photos and for the recital. All recreation jazz and tap dancers will need suntan tights. Pointe, teen, and senior ballet dancers will need white tights. We will have ballet pink tights in children's and adult sizes, suntan tights in children's sizes, and white tights in adults sizes available for purchase at the studio. We will offer these on a first come, first serve basis but can order more if needed. Tights will be $5.50 per pair.
Recital Photos
We will have recital photos March 25-28. Please bring your dancer dressed and ready for photos; pictures will be made during their normally scheduled class time. We will send out details for hair for all recreation classes; light makeup including mascara, blush, and gloss is encouraged (Company dancers, please wear full company makeup).
2019 Recital The Centre & Co. spring concert will be on Friday, May 17 at Easley High School. Rehearsal will be on Thursday, May 16; please mark your calendars now for both dates as we need everyone present for rehearsal and the performance! More details to follow. Recital ad information will go home with students the week of March 4.
Encore Competition - March 8-10 Our company dancers will perform at the Encore Dance Competition at Furman University. If you have been considering competition dance or just want to enjoy some amazing dances, please join us!
Company Parent Meeting
We will have a Company parent meeting at 6:15pm on Monday, March 4 to discuss our upcoming weekend at Encore, summer plans, and recital program advertisements. If you have not signed the Encore Waiver, this will need to be done before March 8.
